Returns & Refunds

Returns Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. After this period, refunds or exchanges are not available, except where required under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. For more information, please refer to the ACCC – Consumer Rights & Responsibilities.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • Returned in original packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids or gases

  • Gift cards

Please do not return items directly to the manufacturer.

Wood Heaters – Change of Mind
For approved change of mind returns on wood heaters, a 20% restocking fee will apply.

  • The heater must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

  • Any freight or delivery costs are non-refundable.

  • The customer is responsible for return freight costs.

This restocking fee does not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Clearance Items

Clearance items are not eligible for a refund. A store credit will be issued where applicable.

Refunds (Online Purchases)

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund, please first contact your bank, as processing times may vary.

Shipping

Estimated shipping times to Australian capital cities (Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin) are 5–7 business days.

For locations outside standard postal routes, shipping costs shown at checkout are estimates only. We will contact you to confirm a final freight quote where required.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs may be deducted from any approved refund.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance for items valued over $75. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Heater Quotes/Payment Policy

Quotes

Valid for 30 days from date of quotation unless otherwise specified. Excludes sale and promotional offers. All heater installation quotes are subject to an onsite inspection.

Wood Heating & Installation Payment Conditions

Minimum 50% deposit required. Remaining invoice to be finalised in full at least 24 hrs prior to installation date.

Heater Installation Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

We provide a two year (2) year workmanship warranty on all wood heater installation services performed by our company. This warranty covers defects in workmanship arising from the installation carried out by our technicians.

The warranty period begins on the date of installation completion.

What Is Covered

Under this warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or rectify any issues that arise as a direct result of faulty installation workmanship, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect fitting of the wood heater

  • Improper installation of flue components

  • Installation-related safety or performance issues

All warranty work will be carried out at no cost for labour related to the original installation.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects or failures of the wood heater or its components (these are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty)

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper operation, or failure to follow manufacturer operating instructions

  • Modifications, repairs, or alterations carried out by third parties

  • Damage caused by external factors, including but not limited to weather events, building movement, power surges, or chimney fires

  • Damage acquired during routine maintenance, cleaning, or servicing

Owner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, the customer must:

  • Operate the wood heater in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions

  • Ensure regular maintenance and cleaning as recommended

  • Not modify or tamper with the installation without written approval from us

Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, the customer must:

  • Notify us as soon as the issue is discovered and within the 2 year warranty period

  • Provide proof of installation date (invoice or receipt)

  • Allow reasonable access to the installation site for inspection and repair

Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or rectification of the installation work performed by us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Outside of Warranty 

After 2 years, we are still happy to attend site to assess any concerns. A $150 call-out and inspection fee applies to all assessment visits. For locations more than 40 km from Mount Barker, this fee may be higher.

Following the inspection, a quote for any required work and materials will be provided.

If the issue is confirmed to be a fault, the call-out fee will be waived or refunded, and any required work or materials will be completed at no additional cost.
